Last night I chatted to
Dread,
Nemesis,
Kayura and
Tarwedge in #eventide. When I went
off line I made my supper before watching this week's episode of
Defying Gravity which I'd recorded
on Saturday, I though it was better than previous episodes, I then
watched the
Doctor Who
special and the first episode of the new series of
Top Gear which I'd recorded earlier
in the evening.
When I got up today I popped on line and made a start to my moves in
the
Kingdom
of Loathing while chatting to
Randi
on AIM and to
Morgan,
Maz and
FYP in
#futuramachat.
I also wrote a review of
Doctor Who: The Waters of Mars
which I posted on the
IMDb.
Although it was raining when I got up it had cleared by the half past
nine so we headed to Norfolk as planned. Our first stop was the cliff
tops near West Runton where we hoped to be seeing some
Lapland Buntings,
unfortunately there were no signs of any though.
We then went to The Chequers at Binham where I had a half each of their
new mild and Bodicea Strong Ale from the Icini Brewery. We had more
luck at the second place we went bird watching, getting our first
Shore Larks of the year at
Holkham Gap, they were fairly flighty but I managed to get a snap of
one.

We were rather lucky as a chap who we spoke to as we walked there said
he'd spent two hours looking for them before giving up, we walked fifty
yards beyond where he'd been looking and saw them fairly easily. On we
way back we popped to the barns near Choseley hoping to see a
Black Redstart, there was
no sign of it though.
When I got home I came on line again and finished my moves in the
Kingdom
of Loathing while chatting to
Maz,
Books and
Jezzem in
#futuramachat,
Lillerina in
#spacefem and to
Dread and
Pers in #dataclaw. I also exchanged
a few emails with my friend
Lucy.
